Keep wildlife encounters quiet and unforced. Do not feed, touch or surround a macaque to obtain a photograph.
Give animals space
Watch from a distance that lets them move away. Keep food out of sight and bags closed. Avoid blocking an animal's route or approaching its young. If it moves toward you, create space calmly rather than offering food for a selfie.
Check the location of an advertised encounter
Morocco's mountain regions are not interchangeable. A macaque photograph does not establish that the animal occurs on your chosen Imlil route. Ask where the encounter takes place and avoid making guaranteed wildlife sightings the basis of a booking.
Choose observation over handling
