What to Pack

• Comfortable walking or light hiking shoes with good grip; trails are rocky in places.
• Layered clothing to adapt to cooler air at higher altitude and warmer midday sun.
• Light windproof or waterproof jacket in case of changing mountain weather.
• Sun hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen; much of the route is exposed.
• 1.5–2L of water per person plus light snacks or energy bars.
• Small daypack for water, layers, camera, and personal items.
• Respectful clothing suitable for visiting a pilgrimage area (avoid very short shorts/tops).
