What to Pack

• Good hiking boots or sturdy trail shoes suitable for steep and sometimes loose terrain.
• Comfortable layered clothing to adapt to cool mornings and warmer midday temperatures at altitude.
• Waterproof or windproof jacket, especially in shoulder seasons or if showers are forecast.
• Sun protection including hat, sunglasses, and high-factor sunscreen.
• At least 1.5–2L of water per person plus energy snacks if desired.
• Swimwear or quick-dry shorts and a small towel in warmer months for a dip near the falls.
• Trekking poles to ease the long ascents and descents (recommended).
• Small daypack for carrying layers, water, lunch, and camera.
