2-Day Mount Toubkal Ascent
Discover 2-Day Mount Toubkal Ascent
Walk from Imlil to the Toubkal Refuge, stay overnight in a shared dormitory, then set out for Mount Toubkal before descending to Imlil. This two-day trek includes a mountain guide, meals on the trek and return transport between Marrakech and Imlil. The route is demanding and leaves limited time for acclimatization. Expect a sustained climb on the first day and a long summit-and-descent day. Before booking, tell us about your recent hiking experience so we can discuss whether this itinerary suits you. You will follow the Ait Mizane Valley past Sidi Chamharouch before reaching the higher, rockier terrain around the refuge. The summit is an objective, not a promise: conditions and the guide’s assessment determine how the trek proceeds. Read the itinerary and inclusions below, and contact us with questions about dates, equipment or your travel plans.
Join fellow adventurers on this difficult journey through the timeless High Atlas – where every step uncovers Berber heritage and breathtaking vistas. Limited to 12 guests for an intimate experience.

What Adventurers Say
James Peterson
June 14, 2024"Absolutely incredible experience! The summit sunrise was worth every step. Our guide Omar kept us at a perfect pace and his knowledge of the mountains was impressive. The 2-day format is intense but achievable if you're reasonably fit. Pro tip: bring good gloves for the cold summit morning!"
Sophie Laurent
May 3, 2024"Tough but totally worth it! Summit day is a serious undertaking—don't underestimate it. The refuge was more comfortable than expected, and the food was surprisingly good. Watching the sunrise from 4,167 m with the Sahara stretching out before us is a memory I'll cherish forever."
