A Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim crossing needs transport and access planning as well as fitness. Check current park information before committing.
Plan each trailhead
Confirm the walking start and finish, road access and return transfer. Accommodation on one side does not solve transport from the other. Verify overnight permissions separately rather than assuming a suggested walking route includes them.
Separate trip reports from updates
Use Grand Canyon National Park guidance and its current operational information. A past report cannot verify today's water supplies or closures. Do not adopt a fast hiker's schedule as your safety margin.
Use the planning habit in Morocco
An Atlas traverse also needs a confirmed finish, luggage movement and transfer. The Imlil transport guide covers the Morocco conversation. Canyon-specific rules and facilities do not transfer to the High Atlas.
