A winter Toubkal equipment list must match the current route and conditions. Do not treat a summer packing list with a warmer jacket added as a complete winter plan. Agree the equipment requirements with an appropriately qualified guide before buying or renting items.
Confirm technical equipment as a system
Ask which footwear, traction equipment and other technical items are required for the proposed trip, how compatibility is checked and what instruction you need. Do not assume that any crampon fits any boot, or that a lighter traction device replaces equipment specified by the guide.

Plan clothing around changing activity

Request the items, sizes, condition checks, collection time, rental price and deposit terms. Allow time for fitting and questions before the departure. Clarify who supplies lighting, communication and emergency equipment rather than assuming everything is in a package.
Check the sleeping-bag requirements with the named accommodation. A generic temperature claim in a blog should not determine your choice.
Keep the route flexible
Ask what conditions would change or cancel the plan, what alternative is available and how the booking terms apply. A calendar date does not establish that the mountain is suitable.
